Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies is one of our very exciting after school clubs that takes place on Mondays, for children in Year 1 and Year 6.
The younger children enjoy reading their phonics books to the older children. Not only does their reading improve but it is a wonderful opportunity for them to build relationships across the school.
Our wonderful Year 6 pupils show a great attitude when listening to the Year 1 children read. They are supportive, patient and caring which ultimately is helping our Year 1 pupils thrive.
